Face painting has become an indispensable attribute of any children's parties and performances. This is not surprising - a few strokes of the brush, and any girl can turn into a beautiful butterfly, and a boy, for example, into a spiderman. In addition, face painting is completely safe and can be easily washed off with water. Usually such makeup is applied by a specially invited aqua make-up artist, but there is nothing complicated about it.

It is necessary

  • - Special water-based paints;
  • - sponges;
  • - natural hair brushes;
  • - thin pointed brush.

Instructions

Step 1

When buying face painting, please note that it comes in two types: dry, compressed powder, reminiscent of watercolor paints, and liquid.

Step 2

Before the first application of face painting, check the paints for an allergic reaction on a small area of the skin.

Step 3

Before you start drawing, remove the hair of the model from the face so that the forehead is exposed. Despite the fact that face painting can be easily washed from any fabric, it is better to change your festive outfit to any other that you do not mind getting dirty, or to put on an apron.

Step 4

Apply tone to face. To do this, wet a sponge. Squeeze it out thoroughly, make sure there is no water left in it. Rub the paint with a sponge and apply it to your face in light circular motions. Make sure that the paint lies evenly and is evenly distributed over the entire face.

Apply face painting up to the hairline, and the line along the lower edge of the face should be straight and clear. Don't forget about the eyelids. While applying the tone to the lower eyelid, ask the model to look up, then paint over the upper eyelid. The embossed parts of the face are usually the most difficult. There is nothing complicated about them. The folds of the lips, nose and the corners of the eyes just need to be painted over more carefully.

Step 5

After the first layer is dry, proceed to the second stage. Take a brush and wet it, rub the paint on it with circular strokes. Hold the brush at a right angle to the subject's skin. Draw the lines, outlines and elements of the future makeup.

Step 6

It is easier to draw fine lines or points with a thin brush. For example, if you are drawing a tiger, then it is better to draw the stripes with a thin brush, and to draw the rest of the details, you can use a thicker brush. If there is only one brush, the less you press on it, the thinner the strip will be.
