Step 1
Before starting the game, carefully read its basic rules. Once you've mastered the basic techniques and gained some experience, you can develop your own tactics, which will help you win more often.
Step 2
By mutual consent of the players, various changes and new provisions can be made to the rules of the game. Discuss and clearly negotiate additional rules in order to exclude the possible possibility of misunderstanding and distortion of the meaning of the adopted innovations and the occurrence of unnecessary disputes.
Step 3
Don't make up monosyllabic words. Try to keep the high-scoring letters passing through the "expensive" fields. For example, the letters "f", "ts", "w", "u", "e", "u", which are estimated at 10 points each, try to place them on the blue fields, because on them the "price" of the letter increases in three times. But at the same time, carefully watch your rivals: did any of them "stick" to such a letter. Try to continue the written word by placing your letters in front. In the same way, increase the number of points by placing words on the brown field, which doubles their "value".
Step 4
Keep a close eye on the progress of the game and take your time. Take your time, for example, to spread the word "shield", having in your arsenal the letters "i", "t", "u". First write the word "cabbage soup", which is 31 points. Then, on your next move, add the letter "t" in the back, forming the word "shield". Then you get 33 more points. Thus, slowly, you will earn 64 points, instead of 33. Of course, you should find out if there is a letter "t" from opponents who can get ahead of you on their move by writing the word "shield".
Step 5
Do not rush to use the red chip. It will help you more in the case of the highly valued letters "f" and "c", "w" and "u", "b", "e" and "u". However, when a word passes through the red box and contributes to a high score for the player, a relatively inexpensive letter can also be assigned to the red token.
Step 6
Play Scrabble with timing. To do this, use a chess, hourglass or timer.
