The main equipment required for the game is, of course, a special table with sides, covered with cloth. A unique and fascinating spectacle unfolds on it.
Step 2
There are two types of billiards tables: pocket and carambole. Naturally, for both professional and amateur billiards, the cloth on the billiard table plays an important role. If scuffs, chips on the sides, traces of dents appear on the table, the cloth must be replaced. Choose new fabric of the best quality for replacement. The cloth should be perfectly smooth to ensure the acceleration (rolling) of the ball.

To achieve this goal, the billiard table must be covered with a cloth so that it does not have irregularities. The structure of the table consists of a frame on which the slab is laid. The table necessarily has sides that are screwed to the plate, and a so-called "skirt" is installed on the sides. Pockets are installed at the joints of the boards (with or without rollouts).
Step 4
The billiard table is disassembled in the reverse order: first, the pockets are removed, then the sides and "skirt", and last of all, the cloth is removed from the stove ("clearing").
Step 5
The cloth is secured with construction staples. The staples are stapled to the cover. The lining itself is screwed to the plate through specially made through holes with screws. Thus, the whole process of tightening is associated, in general, with tightening the bolts.
Step 6
It is necessary to start pulling the cloth from the corner, and then along the short board, from one corner pocket to another, and then along the long one. To ensure that the tension on the felt is even, direct the tension from the middle pocket, keeping the diagonal of the half of the table.
Step 7
After finishing the hauling of the slab, cut holes in the cloth for fastening the sides. After dragging the bot, place them in place. Place the pockets last.
Step 8
Admire the overtightened table, the cloth should have a clearly defined structure and the same direction of the fibers. The over-tightened table looks like new. Have a good game!
