You can make anything from scrap materials. It turns out that even a flower pot can be made at home. It will perfectly match any interior.
It is necessary
- - dense fabric measuring 50x50 centimeters;
- - PVA glue;
- - water;
- - acrylic paints;
- - brush;
- - threads;
- - a needle;
- - rope;
- - plastic bag;
- - container for glue;
- - acrylic lacquer;
- - scissors.
Instructions
Step 1
So, first you need to try on the fabric. To do this, lay it out and put a pre-prepared curly bottle in the center, for example, from sunflower oil. If the sizes suit you, then we take scissors and with their help we cut out a circle from this fabric. Then we hem its edges by about 5 centimeters. Please note that the size of the pot will depend on the size of the fabric.
Step 2
Now we take a bowl and pour out the PVA glue. We also send our fabric there. Soak it well in a container with glue. If you do not have enough of this substance, then you can dilute it with water so that the fabric has enough solution for impregnation. Just keep in mind that you cannot overdo it with her. The smaller it is, the stronger the pot will be.
Step 3
Slightly wring out the fabric, put it on the table and straighten it. Our curly bottle should be wrapped in a plastic bag and then placed in the center of the fabric. This wrapping will make it easier to remove the bottle after the flowerpot is dry.
Step 4
We form a pot. To do this, raise the edges of the fabric so that they fit in folds. In this position, we fix the fabric with a rope. Then touch up the formed folds of the future pot. In this state, our product should stay for at least a day, and always near the battery. In other words, we are waiting for the complete drying of this craft.
Step 5
So, a day has passed. Is the pot dry? So let's start painting it. We apply the first coat of paint to the product. Just do not rush to take out the bottle. To make the craft stronger, it is necessary to add PVA glue at each stage of staining.
Step 6
When the first coat of paint is dry, you can remove the bottle from the pot. This is very easy to do. Just untie the rope, slightly push apart the folds of the craft, then, accordingly, pull out our blank. We don't need it anymore.
Step 7
The rest of the paint can now be applied. After they dry, you can varnish the product. The decor depends on your taste. The flower pot is ready!
