For a hand-made photo frame, almost any material will work, from beads to old clothes and shoe boxes. The main thing in this is your imagination and the size of the photo.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut two rectangles out of the cardboard to exactly fit your photo. If the photo is a different shape, change the cardboard bases accordingly, but it's best to experiment with a simple shape the first time.
Step 2
Set one rectangle aside, and in each corner of the second cardboard draw a bisector. Since all the original angles are right, each of the eight new angles will be 45 °.
Step 3
From each side of the rectangle, set aside the thickness of the future frame and put points. Connect them to make a rectangle within a rectangle. The corners of the new shape should be aligned with the bisectors.
Step 4
Cut out the trapezoids that result from these measurements. Set aside the remaining rectangle.
Step 5
Sheathe cardboard trapeze with fabric, make an applique from pieces of leather, plastic, beads, apply paint - in a word, make them beautiful. Before creating any kind of drawing directly on them, sketch out a sketch on paper. You will immediately understand how and what to do, in what order to glue and sew.
Step 6
Match the size of your photo with a piece of finished glass. Attach it to the set aside (first) piece of cardboard, attach the trapezoid on top. Connect the structure with glue or special metal clips on three sides (a photo will be inserted on top or on the side). Glue an even small rectangle on the back, bending the upper narrow side 1 cm so that the photo frame can be placed on the table.
