Guitar is a stringed-plucked instrument, the main variety of which is the classical Spanish six-string guitar, but there are also basses, quarts, tertz guitars, ukuleles, electric, semi-electric, fretless and others. The sounding body of the guitar is the strings, which, regardless of the type of guitar, are attached to the tuning pegs in the same way.

Instructions

Step 1

Thread the first (thinnest) string into the far right hole in the saddle. Pull up, insert into the hole in the upper (right) tuning peg. Leave a tail about 10 cm on the other side of the hole.

Step 2

Bend the string. Twist the peg clockwise until the string stops dangling. It should match exactly with the right-most groove in the nut.

Step 3

Pass the second string through the adjacent hole in the saddle and through the hole of the second from the top (right) tuning peg. Twist in the same direction.

Step 4

By analogy, the third string is inserted into the lower right peg, the fourth into the lower left, the fifth into the middle left, the sixth into the upper right. The tuning pegs rotate in the same direction, the strings are arranged symmetrically on the head.
