Pay special attention to rhymes when writing rap. The rhymes have to be interesting, which means they don't have to be precise. Give preference to imprecise rhymes that are not obvious, which means they will arouse the listener's interest and make the text unusual. In such rhymes, the sounds after the final stress may not coincide, and the text using inaccurate and atypical rhymes becomes much richer and multifaceted.
Step 5
Remember that rap expresses your thoughts, so avoid hackneyed rhymes and phrasing. The constant use of such rhymes makes the lyrics boring and second-rate. If you're a beginner, try to get rid of obvious rhymes altogether. Finding out-of-the-box rhymes will help your creative development and give you a sense of how your rap lyrics are being composed.
Step 6
Your listener doesn't have to guess which word will follow the last word in a line of the song. Use complex rhyming techniques, for example, you can rhyme words not only at the end of lines, but also in the middle using inner rhymes. The main thing is to start your creativity and not give up before difficulties, and your texts will differ in an advantageous way from the texts of other authors.
