The mythical creature Cyclops is known for having only one eye on its head. This character is usually depicted as a muscular giant with grotesque features.
It is necessary
- - pencil;
- - paper;
- - paints.
Instructions
Step 1
Pick up a few images of Cyclops to get an idea of what this character looks like. Keep in mind that each artist depicts it differently. Create your own version of the Cyclops, inspired by the work of other illustrators. Highlight the common traits of the character and come up with your own unique characteristics.
Step 2
Contour the head in the upper half of the sheet. Draw a small parietal area so that the large and heavy jaw stands out against its background. Do not make the last line too smooth. Draw a jaw with pronounced corners, and then round them a little.
Step 3
Add the basic features of the Cyclops face. Draw a large eye in the middle of the head. Make an overhanging, curved eyebrow over it. This will give the character a slightly frowned look. To enhance this effect, draw two arched wrinkles above the eyebrow. Draw two circles within the outline of the eye. One corresponds to the iris and the other to the pupil.
Step 4
Make a monkey-like nose under the eye. The character's mouth can be opened. In this case, you will need to draw a lot of sharp teeth. If you are drawing a closed mouth, draw two canines on each edge of the mouth line.
Step 5
Then move on to drawing the upper torso of the Cyclops. Draw thick, muscular arms, a powerful neck, and a broad chest to give the character a menacingly imposing look. Bend your arms at the elbows, and place their fists on your hips. This will give the Cyclops a defiant look. The character, as it were, invites the viewer to measure their strength. Make the Cyclops a protruding belly.
Step 6
Sketch the legs of the character with a pencil. They are wide and short. Thanks to these legs, the character looks stocky. Draw three toes on each lower limb. The toes of the feet are turned to the sides.
Step 7
Since the Cyclops is like a human, draw him dressed. Divide the upper and lower halves of the body with a smooth line. Then separate the feet from the main legs with two short lines. Thus, you have depicted the pants. To keep them from falling off, draw a wide shoulder strap over a large round button.
