Sewing dolls yourself is a beautiful creation that can easily become an exciting hobby. Women have long been engaged in hand-sewing dolls, making them from almost any fabric, from which scraps remained. Today, sewn dolls are presented in stores in a wide range, but still making toys with your own hands is a real pleasure for any needlewoman. And in a home, narrowly thematic performance, toys made with your own hands are simply necessary.

Step 1
As the main material for a homemade doll, you can use the fabric of old tights, which reduces the cost of the final product, but the doll does not become less beautiful from this. In addition to tights, you need to get a synthetic winterizer or cotton wool to fill the doll, wire, a few pieces of fur, yarn, the remnants of any fabrics. Now you can start sewing.
Step 2
First, cut off a sock from the tights, then stuff it with padding polyester or cotton wool, giving it the shape of a ball or egg. This ball is the head of your future doll. In place of the intended nose of the doll, stuff more cotton to get a small protrusion and sew the edges of the tights.
Step 3
Use a needle to mark the doll's mouth, nose and eyes with a thread. You can make them smooth or convex. If you have colored threads, you can "decorate" the face of the workpiece in any color of your choice. Make the doll's hair by sewing pieces of fur on its head.
Step 4
Now make the body with the wire. You will have a wire skeleton on which you need to plant the finished head. From the same wire, you need to make a handle going down from the back of the doll. So you can keep it, hiding behind a theater screen. Sheathe the wire with padding polyester. Then cut the tights into small pieces and begin to sew these pieces neatly over the entire surface of the doll's body.
Step 5
It remains to pick up paints and apply some pretty patterns on the doll or dress it in clothes made of multi-colored fabric.
