Indoor decorative topiary - tiny trees that are easy to make. Such a tree can be a great gift for a loved one. A child can also cope with the manufacture of topiary.
To make a fabulous tree, you don't have to buy anything, you only need materials at hand. Unless you can find hot melt glue at home.
The list of materials is small:
- roll of toilet paper;
- the remains of green threads;
- jute rope;
- organza or tulle flap;
- cotton wool;
- ready-made beads or polymer clay;
- hot melt glue (with a gun);
- PVA glue;
- thin even stick;
- a sheet of cardboard;
- a few pebbles;
- the worst quality toilet paper;
- scissors.
Having prepared all the necessary materials, you can get to work. It is better to tinker the base of the future tree for an adult, and let the little apprentice oversee the process, providing assistance if necessary.
Work on making a fabulous tree should start with the formation of its crown. This requires thin cardboard. It is not necessary to take cardboard from a stationery store, you can adapt for this, for example, a candy box or a pack of tea. Cut the circle to the desired diameter and cut on one side along the radius. Roll up with a cone and fix with glue.
Adjust the prepared stick along the length in accordance with the dimensions of the cardboard cone. Lubricate with PVA glue and wrap tightly with jute rope or gray-brown thread.
Cut the toilet paper roll crosswise into 2 pieces. You only need one of the halves, the other can be removed. Cut a circle out of cardboard with a diameter equal to the diameter of the sleeve.
Glue the cardboard bottom to the sleeve.
Fill the prepared cone loosely with toilet paper, insert a stick, greased with glue, wrapped in a rope. Fill the paper tighter to secure the stick.
Place the pebbles on the bottom of the barrel. They are needed to make the lower part of the structure heavier and to give stability to the tree. Insert a reinforced cone stick into the keg and fill the empty space tightly with toilet paper.
Grease the sides of the barrel with glue and wrap with green thread.
Extend the upper part of the cardboard cone with a tightly rolled bundle of toilet paper. Lubricate the entire cone with PVA glue and wrap with jute rope. Wind green thread on top. Do as your fantasy dictates. The child, depending on age, can wind the thread independently or with the help of an adult.
Decorate the finished tree with beads made of plastic, wood, or figurines or flowers made of polymer clay yourself, an organza or tulle flap, and cotton balls.
