A snowman is an indispensable guest of every house on New Year's Eve (almost every house has a snowman made of ceramics, glass, a snowman-candle). Not everyone has a felt snowman. This means that a fabulous creature made with your own hands can become an unusual souvenir.

Step 1
Draw a pattern on paper. You can come up with a beautiful costume for a snowman. For example, sew a snowman in a vest, felt boots and a hat with earflaps. You need to draw a pattern for every detail.
Step 2
Carefully cut out the details from the felt. On white felt, it is better not to draw with a pencil (the lines will be noticeable, they will not be erased). You can simply pin the patterns with pins, and cut out the details with small scissors.
Step 3
On the carrot, embroider the strips with black thread. Embroider eyes, eyebrows, mouth for a snowman. Sew the carrot to the snowman's head. Sew a colored strip to the hat. Sew the details of the scarf.
Step 4
First of all, we sew the legs to the body. After that, the upper part of the body must be put so that it overlaps the upper part of the legs a little, sewn carefully. The snowman should be voluminous. Sew the head to the body (after connecting the two parts of the head) with a blind seam, and then the hands. After the snowman is ready, you need to put it on. Sew a scarf over the edge. Put on the hat and fix it on the head with seams "over the edge", sew on the cap lapel.
Step 5
The snowman is fabulous, cheerful. He has a slight blush from frost, so you need to tint his cheeks a little with pastel chalk or watercolor pencil. You can sew on a loop and hang the snowman on the tree. To give the snowman a festive look, you can decorate it with beads or sequins, or put a knitted scarf and a red cap on the snowman.
