To tie a snowman to a Christmas tree, you need to take white for the base. Knit elements of the toy should be in a spiral. Even with a little experience, it is not difficult to knit a circle of a suitable size from yarn, which will be used for the bottom of the snowman. To do this, in each row it will be necessary to make the same number of increments at an equal distance. When the size seems sufficient for you, knit a couple more rows without making any increments. You will need two such parts.
Knitting of elements for the head is carried out in a similar way. Your snowman will look more attractive if the head is made a little smaller. Then the parts must be sewn in pairs and the resulting element filled in - you can use a synthetic winterizer, foam rubber, holofiber. The head is then sewn to the body.
To decorate a snowman, you can knit or sew handles, legs, headwear from fabric. Beads are suitable for the eyes. For a carrot nose, make a chain of three air loops, close it, in the next row, make three increases and knit several rows of red yarn in a circle. You can take real buttons and paint them with nail polish. Sew a loop on your head to hang the snowman on the tree. Now the knitted toy is ready!
