- Dark green yarn;
- Cardboard or thick paper;
- Thread and needle.
Instructions
Step 1
Cast on 25 loops on the knitting needles (more can be done if you want a large herringbone, the main thing is that the number of loops is odd). Knit two rows of stocking stitches, that is, knit with front loops on the front side, and with purl stitches on the wrong side. Knit further and decrease one loop in each row on each side, until one loop remains. Repeat knitting again so that you have two Christmas trees.
Step 2
From cardboard or thick paper, make a triangle as large as Christmas trees. Insert it between them and sew together. Leave a loop at the top of the head so that the Christmas tree can be hung.
Step 3
Decorate your crocheted herringbone using beads, beads or lurex threads.
