It is necessary
- - beads in white, pink and green;
- - wire for beading (diameter 0, 3);
- - monofilament or green thread;
- - a needle for beading;
- - green sequins;
- - a piece of stretching fabric, the densest part of nylon tights fits well;
- - synthetic winterizer for stuffing the base;
- - a small diameter tube, you can use the middle part of the gel pen;
- - gypsum (alabaster);
- - a pot for a cactus.
Instructions
Step 1
Making a cactus base. Cut out two parts from the fabric according to the pattern with a 3mm seam allowance. If you change the pattern, you can get a cactus of a different shape or size.
Step 2
Fold the parts with their right sides to each other and sew along the dotted line, leaving holes, as shown in the figure.
Step 3
We turn out the part, insert the tube, fill the base with padding polyester.
Step 4
We sew the base with sequins
Step 5
Making a cactus flower. For this cactus we make two flowers. They are exactly the same, they are made according to the same scheme. The only difference is that in the first flower, the middle of the petals is pink, and the edges are white, in the other, on the contrary, the edges are pink, and the middle is white.
Step 6
The French weaving technique is used. We collect 19 pink beads, 9 white beads on a wire 40 cm long. We make a small loop on the side of the white beads so that the beads do not slip. On the other hand, we make a larger loop, as shown in the diagram.
Step 7
On the free end of the wire, we collect 16 pink and 16 white beads (you may get more or less, because the beads are not always even). We draw the working end of the wire with beads up along the right side (it is possible from the left, if it is more convenient) of the central axis. It is necessary that this row fits snugly against the center one. Wrap the working wire once around the end of the wire with a small loop and pick up the next row.
Step 8
We collect beads on the working end, as shown in the figure. Just as in the previous paragraph, holding the rows at the base, we wrap the working wire around the wire-leg. Because the leaf is ready, we wind it several times.
Step 9
Cut the end of the wire with a small loop, leaving 4-5mm. We bend this tip to the inner side of the petal. You need to make 15 petals for each flower.
Step 10
We make a pestle according to the scheme.
Step 11
For stamens, wire can be taken with a diameter of 2.5 mm, cactus has a lot of stamens, the more, the better.
Step 12
We connect the details of the flower. First of all, we fasten the stamens and the pistil together, and then we beautifully distribute the leaves. Wrap the top of the stem very tightly with wire. We collect 70 pink beads on the wire, fix one end of the wire at the base of the flower, move all the beads to this end and, holding them so that they fit snugly together, we wind them around the stem.
Step 13
Build a cactus. We connect the flowers together. We stretch the stems through the tube. We gently pull the wire together with the tube down. When the flowers are in place, pull the tube out completely, and twist the stems at the bottom in a knot so that the flowers fit snugly against the cactus.
Step 14
Planting a cactus. Pour diluted gypsum into a pot or on a saucer (pour water into the gypsum, stirring continuously, bringing it to the consistency of sour cream). Installing a cactus.
Step 15
We decorate with stones, beads or other materials. The cactus is ready!
