The future People's Artist of Russia was born in Moscow on April 27, 1967 in a famous acting family (father - Alexander Lazarev, mother - Svetlana Nemolyaeva). From the age of twelve, the teenager made his debut with his parents on the same theatrical stage with the role of Lyamin in the production of Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District. After graduating from high school, Shurik, as his parents called him, entered the Moscow Art Theater School. And then there was an urgent service in the army and continued studies at a theatrical university on the course with Alexander Kalyagin.
Since 1990, a real creative career of a talented artist began. Upon receiving a higher theater education, Lazarev Jr. specifically chose Lenkom as a stage, where there was no parental care, and the troupe was one of the most "star" in the country. It was here that the artist's hard work and talent were recognized by the theatrical audience. For his participation in the play "Royal Games" Alexander received prestigious awards - the title awards "Crystal Turandot" and the title of Stanislavsky.
In 1999, Lazarev Jr. became an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, in 2003 and 2006 he was a laureate of the prestigious "Seagull" prize for the performances "The Executioner's Cry" and "Eclipse", respectively.
