There is hardly a child in the world who would be absolutely indifferent to trains. Even a modern electric train makes an impression, and what can we say about a real steam locomotive, which not only knocks, rattles, but also lets out real smoke? The locomotive sometimes seems to be an animate being - it has its own character and even a face. For some reason, from the very beginning, the locomotives did exactly that so that in front of him he had not just different metal parts, but eyes, nose, teeth. In fairy tales, steam locomotives are often alive, and even if you undertake to draw not a fabulous, but the most ordinary steam locomotive, you are not surprised that it will turn out not a front panel, but a smiling face.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - pencil;
- - paints or pencils;
- - a toy locomotive or a picture.
Instructions
Step 1
The most straightforward toy train consists of just a few parts. He always has a cylinder in front that looks almost like a rectangle, a cabin, a number of wheels and a pipe. If you are drawing a train for a small child, this can be limited to. Start painting from the cockpit. It is a fairly tall vertical rectangle. The cockpit has a window in which you can draw a driver. Draw a cylinder in front of the cockpit. It is also almost a rectangle, but lying on its side, and its bottom line, as it were, continues the line of the cockpit. The front of the cylinder appears to curve outward. Draw a large triangular tube closer to the front line of the cylinder. Draw wheels on the cylinder and cockpit. There should be at least two of them, but you can draw as many as you like.
Step 2
You can draw a more interesting train. For example, a locomotive from Romashkov or some other. This locomotive is certainly animate, therefore it is necessary to draw it from the face, that is, from the front of the cylinder. It is a vertical oval. The width of the oval depends on what angle you see it. Around the "physiognomy" draw a rim parallel to it. This will create the front of the cylinder. From the narrowest parts of the oval, draw two lines parallel to the bottom of the leaf. These will be the sides of the oval. They can be straight or concave. Connect the ends of these lines with a curve parallel to the side of the oval.
Step 3
Draw a pipe on the cylinder. It can be just triangular, or you can draw it so that it looks like a truncated cone. The top hole of the pipe is oval, draw it so that it is slightly visible. Smoke should come from the chimney, draw it in the form of a spiral, rings or clouds.
Step 4
Draw a cockpit. It looks like a truncated pyramid with the base at the top. The pyramid stands at an angle to the viewer, that is, one of its sides is fully visible, and the other is at approximately an angle of 45 °. Of course, you don't need to measure it exactly, you can roughly draw a projection. The side appears to be unfolded and, moreover, is half as short as it actually is. The lines can be crooked, natural irregularities will give the train additional character traits.
Step 5
It remains only to draw the wheels. Since this locomotive is slightly turned towards the viewer, the wheels are visible from both sides. Several wheels, located on one side of the cylinder and the cab, are fully visible, but they do not seem to be circles, but vertical ovals. On the other side, the wheel can be seen quite a bit, a kind of semi-oval sticking out from under the cylinder.
Step 6
On the front panel with which you started drawing, you can draw eyes, a smiling mouth and nose. Or you can even make a flower or something else from this panel. In any case, you will get a fun and kind locomotive from a fairy tale.
