Almost everything can be made from newspaper tubes: from hot coasters to furniture. And everything is done very simply, interesting and exciting. To weave a product from newspaper tubes, you need to know only a few rules on how to twist newspaper tubes.
It is necessary
- - newspapers
- -thin knitting needle or skewer
- - PVA glue or glue stick
- - stationery knife or scissors
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start twisting the tubes themselves, you need to prepare the paper for rolling. To begin with, you need to fold all the newspapers into one even pile, matching the edges, aligning, if necessary, the wrinkled places.
Step 2
Fold a stack of newspapers in half. Make sure that all edges are aligned evenly.
Step 3
Fold the folded newspaper 2 more times.
Step 4
While pressing the newspapers against the surface with one hand so that they do not move, use the other hand to cut the edges of the folded newspapers with a clerical knife.
Step 5
Divide newspapers into 2 piles. One pile is with white borders, the other is borderless. From the first stack, you will get white tubes, from the second - regular ones, with text.
Step 6
After preparing the paper, you can start rolling the newspaper tubes. To twist the newspaper tubes correctly, you need to take a knitting needle and attach it to the corner of the newspaper so that it forms the smallest corner.
Step 7
Now wrap the corner over the knitting needle, holding it with your fingernail and start twisting the newspaper tube, trying to press the paper more tightly against the knitting needle.
Step 8
Continue twisting the tube to the end. To twist the tube correctly, you need to scroll the knitting needle with one hand, and with the other hand hold the place where the paper is still free.
Step 9
When the tube is completely twisted, grease the corner with PVA glue or glue stick, wrap and glue. Make the required number of newspaper tubes and feel free to start weaving. Weaving from newspapers is a delightful and very useful type of needlework, which is gaining in popularity every year. Be creative, dare and do needlework!
