Each person loves to receive gifts and give them, but it is even more pleasant to receive a gift, stylishly and tastefully decorated. If you at least sometimes prepare gifts for your friends and loved ones for various holidays, you know how beautiful packaging changes the appearance of even the simplest gift, turning it into a truly original thing that brings a festive atmosphere to its future owner.

Step 1
The easiest way is to decorate any surprise with a beautiful bow, and you can easily learn how to make gift bows with your own hands. For making bows, you can use both fabric and decorative paper ribbons of different widths.
Step 2
In order to make a lush gift bow, you will need a roll of decorative paper tape 2-4 cm wide, as well as a wire or narrow ribbon, double-sided tape and scissors. If you want to make a bow with a diameter of 10-12 cm, prepare three meters of ribbon.
Step 3
Take the end of the tape and roll it into a wide ring. Make seven to twelve turns, depending on the density and width of the tape, and then slightly squeeze the top and bottom folds of the resulting ring, flattening it.
Step 4
At the bottom of the flattened ring, use scissors to cut the corners to the left and right, and then repeat on the top of the ring - this way you should cut all four corners.
Step 5
Carefully spread both sides of the workpiece to the sides to get a ring again, on which two narrow bridges should now form. Connect the ring at the place of the jumpers, aligning them with each other.
Step 6
Tie the jumpers together with wire or thin tape, tie a strong knot, and then begin to gently fluff the bow, pulling the resulting loops from the top and bottom of the ring from the top and bottom of the ring.
Step 7
When removing each new loop, turn it 90 degrees relative to the previous loop - it is thanks to this that your bow will be lush and voluminous. Secure the bow to the gift package with a piece of double-sided tape glued to its base.
