Chinese hibiscus is a rather picky plant that requires proper care.
You can give certain tips for caring for a flower:
- Temperature conditions. Chinese hibiscus is a very thermophilic houseplant. In the hot season, it must be kept at an average temperature of 20-25 ° C in the cold - 15-20 ° C. The minimum temperature allowed in late autumn and winter is 13 ° C.
- The Chinese rose, in other words, the Chinese hibiscus, is very fond of light. Not necessarily direct sunlight, just a well-lit room is enough. It is best to place the flower near windows located in the east or west of the room. During extreme heat, it is necessary to limit the sun's rays as much as possible.
- Fertilizer. Hibiscus is fed from early April to late August every three weeks. For this, special fertilizers are used.
- Air humidity. If the room is not humid enough, then every two to three days the rose must be irrigated with water.
- Watering. The soil in a pot with a flower should be constantly moist, and the soil should not be flooded too much.
- Transfer. Like any houseplant, the Chinese rose must be transplanted. It is advisable to do this in early spring - in March. When transplanting, it is imperative to make a special soil for the flower. The basis of this soil should be present: peat, sod, leafy soil and sand. After the rose is transplanted, it is pruned and pinched.
- Pruning the shoots will speed up the flowering process of the hibiscus.
The most important thing to remember: do not overdry or flood the soil, do not let the plant freeze. By following these basic and simple tips, you will get a beautiful and flowering plant.
