Making jewelry with your own hands is interesting and enjoyable. Decorate a vase or photo album with colored crepe paper, decorate a gift wrap or jewelry box with it. Such a thing will look unusual and elegant.
It is necessary
- - crepe paper;
- - glue;
- - scissors;
- - cardboard;
- - a match.
Instructions
Step 1
Crepe paper keeps the shape well, which was given to it during work. Flowers made of corrugated crepe paper will amaze with their volume and naturalness, and the play of light and shadow in the compressed areas of flowers will delight those who like to paint still lifes.
Step 2
To create a crepe paper rose, you need curly scissors and a marker. Take a sheet of crepe paper and draw a spiral on its back with a marker. Make sure that the mark from the felt-tip pen does not print on the other side of the sheet. Using curly scissors with wavy teeth, cut the spiral along the marked lines. Instead of special art scissors, you can use manicure or even regular scissors. The main thing is to give the paper the shape of a wavy line.
Step 3
Divide the cut lines by pulling the free end of the spiral upward. Do not be afraid to tear thin material: tears will make the rose even more interesting. Take the free end of the spiral and start twisting it into a thin tube so that the beginning of the spiral is inside. Roll up the expanding tube until you are close to the base of the spiral. At this point, you should already have the shape of the flower. If you twist the spiral tightly, loosen it slightly in the places farther from the center.
Step 4
Pull out the bottom of the paper so that the round piece of uncut paper should be the base of the flower. Put some quick-drying glue in the center of the paper circle and press the rose against it. Fix the paper with your fingers, and in a few minutes you will have a voluminous rose in your hands.
Step 5
3Make a 3D crepe paper mosaic. Take a piece of cardboard and draw a flower on it. Cover the design with a thin layer of glue. Cut the crepe paper into 1 square centimeter pieces. Place a match or a rod from the handle in the center of the square. “Wrap the match with paper, squeezing it around the base of the object. Roll this part of the match in your hands - the paper should take the shape of the object.
Step 6
Place the base of the match on the glue area and press down. Carefully remove the match from the paper when it adheres to the cardboard. Crepe paper perfectly retains its shape, so your mosaic flower will remain voluminous for a long time. This craft can be used to decorate an album cover or any other flat surface.
