Step 1
In order to find Saturn, first of all you need to study the current map of the starry sky. Since both the Earth and Saturn are in constant motion, the second is not always visible at night.
Step 2
Go to a dark, open area free from city lights. You should be able to see the brightest stars, only then will you find Saturn.

Try to determine the location of the ecliptic in the sky using a star map. The ecliptic is an imaginary line that crosses the sky and helps you find the location of the planets.
