It is necessary

  • - semolina;
  • - gouache;
  • - colour pencils.

Instructions

Step 1

Coloring semolina with paints.

Cover the surface where the drawing will be with a thin layer of glue. To apply it, it is better to use a brush, otherwise it may fall outside the contours of the drawing. Gently pour semolina onto the glue. After it has dried, take the gouache of the color you want and paint the cereal. Iodine and brilliant green are also suitable for staining in this way.

Step 2

Pour some vodka or alcohol into a deep container. You cannot use water instead of alcohol-containing liquids, otherwise the crumbly cereal will turn into porridge. Add gouache to the container and mix it with vodka. Pour semolina into this mixture and mix thoroughly until the semolina completely acquires the desired color and the alcohol evaporates. Leave the cereal to dry. To prevent the semolina from drying out in one large lump, you can dry it on paper.

Sift the dried cereal through a fine sieve. If lumps form during drying, you must first crush them.

Step 3

You can also paint the semolina with colored pencils.

Take pencils of the color you want and carefully remove the lead from them. To do this, push it with a thin knitting needle. If you don't have a knitting needle, grind off the pencil with a sharp knife. Grind the lead to a powder. Mix the required amount of semolina with colored powder. Pour the mixture onto paper and rub it with a rolling pin so that the grains of semolina and pencil are the same size. Transfer the mixture to a deep bowl and stir until the semolina is completely colored.
