You can prepare the paste for drawing on your own. To do this, you will need powdered henna, lemon juice, eucalyptus oil, and a cone or syringe to apply the mixture. But it is better to use ready-made henna in a cone or in a tube.
You will also need mehendi oil, cotton pads to apply it, and cotton swabs to quickly remove excess paint. If you are good at drawing, then the patterns can be applied independently, redrawing from pre-prepared pictures. How to draw mehendi
Before applying the pattern, the surface should be well prepared, epilated. Hair removal should be done a few days before applying henna. the chemicals it contains can cause irritation. You need to apply henna on well-cleaned and wiped skin with mehendi oil.
To prepare the paint, mix the powdered henna from the bag with water and lemon juice until the paste is thick. To make the paint more resistant and darker, coffee or black tea is added to henna. For easy application, place the resulting mixture in a foil cone or syringe without a needle. You can use ready-made paints in a cone or tube.
In advance, you need to choose a pattern that you will apply to the skin. If you are not sure that you can draw by hand, then it is better to use a stencil or apply a ready-made outline.
Using light pressure on the cone, apply medium thick mixture. after drying, the thickness of the pattern on the skin wakes up a little thinner. During application, the cone must be held vertically, do not press hard, so as not to apply excess paint. If the drawing is uneven, you can correct it by removing unnecessary lines with a cotton swab dipped in oil for mehendi.
The pattern should be applied carefully, starting from the area farthest from you and gradually applying the pattern from top to bottom, so as not to smear the henna while working.
Leave the applied paint to dry completely. Ready-made mixtures in tubes or cones usually dry out in an hour. But to achieve a darker and more durable henna color, you can leave it on for as long as possible.
After complete drying, remove the remnants of the mixture with a cloth and to fix the result, wipe the drawing with a mixture of lemon juice and sugar or special oil for mehendi. Immediately after removing the henna, the drawing will be bright orange, the true color of the tattoo will appear in about a day.
It is not recommended to wet the mehendi within 10 hours after applying the paint. To keep your tattoo happy for longer, try to expose it to less water and avoid rubbing or washing with cleaning products.
