During sleep, the brain can draw amazing pictures in consciousness, often demonstrating events and things that a person dreams of. There is a point of view that if you tune in properly, you can see any dream at will.

Preparation for sleep

Try to relax a few hours before going to bed, do not overwhelm yourself with unnecessary emotions, avoid late dinner and exercise. You can take a bath and do some calming activity like knitting, journaling, etc.

Think about what exactly you would like to see in your dream. At first, do not try to come up with a too long and convoluted plot. Make a short plan of the events taking place point by point, pay special attention to the beginning and end of the dream. One way or another, the situation you create should be very exciting for your creation, you should really want to experience it.

Start thinking about what you want to dream about 2-3 hours before going to bed. Remaining in a relaxed state, try to close your eyes and imagine that you are already having this dream. Imagine how events will develop and repeat the plan you came up with. Before bed, prepare paper and pen and place them next to your bed.

Immersion practice

Try to plunge into the so-called borderline state when you go to sleep. At such a moment, you should feel a slight fatigue and a desire to fall asleep, when your eyes close by themselves and it seems that you are about to fall asleep. Try to stay in this state for as long as possible and at the same time replay the events of your desired dream in your head. The desire to see him must be strong enough, literally "warm from the inside."

Try not to let go of sleep for as long as possible, even when you feel like you are already awake. Continue to scroll through the events as if you are seeing them in reality, and try to bring the dream to the desired end. Immediately after you wake up, quickly write down on paper all the events that you saw in your head that night. Compare them with the plan of your desired dream and note in which moments there were coincidences, and which of the desired you did not dream.

Don't stop trying to learn to dream of your own accord. It is unlikely that you will be able to achieve this skill once or twice. Regular daily practice is necessary, while it is desirable that in the end you are able to see your first desired dream and not switch in a hurry to your other fantasies. Always write down what you dreamed on paper. This will help you monitor how you manage to control your mind and tune it in the right way.
