You can knit fishing line in different ways. This skill is useful to any fisherman, regardless of his experience. It is impossible to list absolutely all the methods of tying fishing line here, so we will limit ourselves to several methods that are widespread.
Instructions
Step 1
Deaf simple loop. Bend the line, fold it in half and tie it in a regular knot at the end. An improved version of the same loop is tied as follows: bend the line, folded in half, wrap around both ends once. Then thread it, without letting go, into the loop and tighten. With such loops, leashes are tied in the bottom tackle, and leashes with hooks are also changed on fishing rods. The size of the loop is chosen at the request of the fisherman.
Step 2
Marine loop. Fold the line and twist it into a small loop. Pass the free end into this loop from below, overlap the other end, stretched. Then again pass the overlapped end into the loop. Tighten the resulting loop, tighten the same end into a knot, but for insurance, hold the free end with the other hand. If this end is folded in half before re-threading it into the loop, the knot can be easily untied by pulling on the end.
Step 3
A loop with a twine is easy to tie. Make a knot at the end without tightening, make a loop of the desired size, wrap the end around the line twice. Thread the end back into the knot and tighten.
Step 4
Stopper for sliding float. This stopper should stop the float sliding through the water, therefore it is necessary that this knot not only holds perfectly from a line with a diameter of 0.4 millimeters, which is folded in half and screwed around the main line with the free end with the help of five or six turns. The stopper is secured with a knot called "loop with a twine", which was described above.
