Step 1
Experienced anglers try to do with hooks without using additional hardening procedures, etc. If you still want to strengthen the strength of your hooks, you can harden them in the following way: use a car torch or an alcohol lamp. Hooks cannot be held with your hands if you want your fingers to be safe and sound. You can use insulated tweezers (to avoid scalding) and small pliers. For hardening, the hooks are heated until a light cherry color of the metal appears, and then dipped in water or oil to completely cool the hook.

Once the hooks have been hardened, they can be used in your tackle. The hook can be tied in several ways. But practice shows that there are always one or two favorite methods of tying, basically these are the very knots that are the strongest. Take the hook in one hand and the fishing line in the other. Thread the line through the eye of the hook and pull the line a short distance. Before tying the knot, make a few turns with the end of the line around the main thread. After a few turns, thread the end of the line into the resulting pigtail, closer to the ear. Pull the end of the line to form a knot.

Using the knot described above, you can tie multiple crochet hooks. When placing the hooks sequentially on the line, it is worth noting that you need to start with the hook that will be located closer to the rod.
