People who are at least a little familiar with the art of origami know very well how many incredibly interesting things can be created from a sheet of plain paper. A paper plane is a fairly simple craft, but there are many different ways to create this item.

It is necessary

  • - a piece of paper;
  • - paints.

Instructions

Step 1

To make a paper airplane, take a piece of plain paper or a sheet of not very thick cardboard. You can also use colored paper to make this model. The sheet should be oblong rectangular in order to make an airplane out of it.

Step 2

Place the paper on a flat surface, and then fold it in half clearly vertically. Draw along the resulting fold with your fingernail to indicate a line that is the vertical axis of symmetry. Bend the sheet back. The blank for the future airplane made of paper is ready.

Step 3

Bend the upper corners on the left and right sides so that they touch on the sides on the vertical central axis. If the sheet is rectangular, then these corners should take up almost a third of the entire sheet. Remember that the smaller the angles are made, the more wings the airplane will get and, accordingly, the lighter it will be. And the lighter the airplane is, the longer distances it will fly.

Step 4

Bend the resulting triangle after folding the corners again in such a way as to get the result that looks like a sealed envelope.

Step 5

Make wings for the airplane: bend the upper corners obtained after several operations, like the previous ones. Only now they should not touch on the center line - leave a small distance between the corners. This will lighten the bow of the paper plane, making it more mobile.

Step 6

Wrap the corners so that a small triangle is visible. Wrap it too, securing only the folded corners. Then bend the plane again along the center axis. Thoroughly align the wings, after which the resulting paper "assembly" can be tested for ease and range. If desired, such a paper airplane can be painted or painted.
