When purchasing a summer cottage, you never know what is on its territory. Who knows, what if, while cultivating your farmland, you suddenly stumble upon explosive "surprises" left over from the war, or a rusted chest with gold coins? It does not interfere with pre-examining the area, and a mine detector will help you with this, or simply a metal detector.

Instructions
Step 1
The hardware part of the metal detector is a generator, which is a quartz resonator of frequencies from 0.5 to 1 MHz. The search generator should operate at this frequency, with harmonics ranging from 5 to 10. The search generator must be carefully tuned to avoid sudden frequency fluctuations.
Step 2
After you have selected a ready-made generator or made it yourself, proceed to the manufacture of the working body of the metal detector. Take vinyl tubing with an outer diameter of 15 mm and an inner diameter of 10 mm. Bend the tube into a ring, the diameter of which must be at least 250 mm. The ring will serve as the base for the search coil. Provide a hole in the design of the ring for a special handle for which you will hold the device in your hands.
Step 3
Make the coil winding from 100 turns of PELSHO wire. The electrostatic screen will be aluminum foil, which should be wound in the form of a tape around a winding of wire. To prevent the reel system from becoming closed, provide a break in the tape. Cover the top of the search coil with several layers of electrical tape.
Step 4
The metal detector will be powered by any battery or rechargeable battery. You will also need a metal extension cord (a duralumin ski pole will do). Place the assembled device in a metal shielding box. Frequency control is carried out using headphones.
