Instructions
Step 1
First option. Cast on an odd number of loops. Work the first row using only knit loops. In the second row, alternate knit and purl stitches. Continue to knit further alternately the first and second rows.
Step 2
Second option. Cast on an even number (multiple of two) of the loops, plus add two hem loops. The first and all subsequent odd rows are performed as follows. Sew one knit and one yarn over. Next, reshoot one loop on the right knitting needle without knitting. To do this, insert a knitting needle into the middle of the loop from right to left, while the working thread is behind the loop. The second and all subsequent odd rows are knitted as follows. A loop, not knitted in the previous row, knit together with the front yarn, one purl loop.
Step 3
The third option. Cast on an even number of loops (for example 24). Tie the first row. To do this, complete one front loop, then one yarn over, then remove one loop without knitting onto the right knitting needle. Continue knitting like this to the end of the row. Work in the second row. To do this, do one yarn over, then remove without knitting one yarn over the right knitting needle. Continue this way to the end of the entire row.
Step 4
Work in the third row. To do this, complete one knit stitch, then one yarn over, then remove without knitting one stitch with two yarn overs on the right knitting needle. Continue knitting like this to the end of the row. Complete the fourth row. To do this, knit one double crochet stitch along with the front one, then sew one purl stitch. Continue this way to the end of the entire row. Work in the fifth row. To do this, repeat the pattern from the first row. Then repeat all the rows in order.
