Step 1
Semi-English elastic bands are knitted, observing certain rules when adding a crochet. The main thing is that when knitting the yarn does not form holes, as in the case of creating an openwork pattern. This method should give volume and splendor to the resulting canvas. It seems that by adding yarn overs, the number of loops should constantly increase, but this is not the case. After all, each yarn is knitted together with one of the main loops, and this allows you to keep the number of loops in knitting the same. The face side in this way of creating clothes can be any knitting side.
Step 2
To create a semi-English elastic, you need to cast on the needles an even number of loops + two hem. Next, the first row is knitted according to the scheme, one front loop, one purl. You need to repeat this pattern to the end of the row.
Step 3
The second row is knitted according to a different pattern: one front loop, then a straight yarn, one purl is removed untied. So repeat, too, to the end of the row.
Step 4
The next row is again knitted in a different way: the first loop with the crochet in front of it should be knitted together with the front one for the front wall, after one purl. And so on until the end of the row.
Step 5
The fourth row is knitted in the same way as the second, and the fifth row is knitted like the third. Further, the rows are repeated in exactly this sequence.
Step 6
This pattern is especially suitable for bulky and children's products. It can also be successfully used if you knit a product from fine mohair yarn. This happens because the products are airy and delicate. But remember about the peculiarities of English knitting: it is very susceptible to deformation. This means that they should not process the edges of the clothes. In addition, knitting volumetric patterns requires an increased consumption of yarn. This must be remembered when choosing wool for knitting, so that later in the middle of the pattern you will not run out of thread.
