Not a single creature is immune from troubles on our planet. Even the most obedient, calm, intelligent and loyal dogs can get lost. And it's not worth talking about dogs, which are very afraid of loud and harsh sounds and restless puppies. Wise parents teach their children knowledge related to their own home by asking the questions "What is your name?", "Where do you live?" and the like. Dogs cannot be taught to speak, but you can hang tags around their necks with information and contact details of the owner.

Step 1
So you will give people the opportunity to accomplish a noble cause. Not every passer-by will be able to take a lost puppy home. But almost everyone can dial a phone number written or stamped on a tag. Agree, the tag on the dog's neck will be just in place. Let this be a trifle, but you need to think about it (the tag) in advance.
Step 2
It is highly discouraged to put tags on the necks of those dogs that climb narrow manholes, for example, the so-called burrowing dogs or just dogs that like to climb through all sorts of holes and crevices. There is a danger that the dog will catch on something with this tag and will not be able to get out. This also applies to collars.
Step 3
An excellent choice for you would be a metal token or a tag like soldier's and officer's tokens. They are relatively cheap. And in a number of pet stores in large cities there is a service where you can order a token with an inscription of your choice.
Step 4
Now let's talk about the tag device. The first (front) side is usually written:
- One or three phone numbers, whether mobile or landline. If you like to travel with your dog, also enter the code of the city in which you live in front of each home phone number;
- Dog's name;
- Information about the remuneration.
Step 5
On the back of the tag, you can put any information of your choice. For instance:
- Please return me to the owners;
- I want to go home;
- Call the owner.
Step 6
Or you can fill in something special:
- The dog is dangerous;
- The dog is sick;
- There is a vaccination against rabies.
Step 7
For dogs spending a lot of time outside the city, it is recommended to engrave the address of the dacha or country house, because it can be problematic to find a telephone in the region. In this case, taking the dog home is easier than trying to call the owners back.
