The modern ski resort Sorochany is one of the largest resorts in the Moscow region. If we compare it with similar resorts in Stepanovo, Volen and Yakhroma, it is easy to conclude that it has combined many of their advantages.

Step 1
The Sorochany ski resort is designed for recreation with family and friends, contributing to a healthy lifestyle and recuperation, especially after strenuous working days. The resort is located 54 kilometers north of Moscow. Before heading there, be sure to check its opening hours. Go to the site and carefully read all the information available. To get to Sorochan, take a commuter train, bus or car.
Step 2
For beginner skiers and children, there is a wonderful walking slope with a length of about 1.2 km. If you don't know how to ski at all, you can start training on a special slope 500 m long under the strict guidance of professional instructors. For young travelers who have not yet mastered mountain skiing, riding on inflatable cameras will become an exciting entertainment.
Step 3
If you are an experienced alpine skiing lover, you will undoubtedly be interested in three rather difficult tracks, including a flat slalom slope of about 800 m. Modern comfortable lifts from Austria and Italy are installed on all slopes of the Sorochany sports park. There are two- and four-chair cable cars.
Step 4
Please note that to extend the ski season until mid-April and maintain the proper condition of the ski slopes, Sorochany has a powerful snow-making system. When the temperature in Moscow is + 6 ° C and the grass begins to turn green, the slopes of the resort are still open for skiing. In addition, all trails are well-lit and constantly leveled.
Step 5
Purchase ski equipment from a ski shop if necessary. By the way, the largest ski equipment rental in Russia with a huge storage room is open here, where you can leave your belongings while skiing. The Sorochany complex also has a ski and snowboard repair shop.
Step 6
Take advantage of the opportunities offered by Sorochany in spring and summer. Dmitrovskoe direction is rich in picturesque places, coniferous forests, reservoirs, lakes and rivers. Here they are trying to preserve a favorable ecological situation, taking care of natural resources. Horseback riding, hiking, fishing are organized. There is a golf course. Numerous festivals, performances and concerts are held here in summer.
Step 7
Not far from the main resort, fans of extreme recreation can go cycling, motorcycles and ATVs on the forest tracks of the Moscow region, as well as improve their skills in sports shooting or even take training in helicopter control. Near Sorochany, there is a Land Rover Experience training ground, where everyone can learn to drive a jeep in difficult conditions. In addition, you can take a test drive of Land Rover vehicles here.
