Assembling puzzles is a fascinating activity, not only interesting, but also useful: it develops attention, perseverance, logic, patience, spatial thinking. Originally intended for children, jigsaw puzzles have become a real hobby for many adults. After assembling the picture, you do not want to destroy your work, but this is not necessary - you can stick it on paper or whatman paper to save it.

It is necessary

  • -PVA glue;
  • -glue for puzzles;
  • -Scotch;
  • - stationery glue;
  • - fiberboard sheet;
  • -the cloth;
  • -adhesive film.

Instructions

Step 1

Before gluing the puzzle to any surface, it must be turned face down. The complexity of this procedure depends on what the picture was collected on. It is best to fold the puzzle on a sheet of fiberboard, a special rug or plexiglass. In this case, cover it with another sheet or sturdy material, clamp it firmly, and turn the structure over with a quick motion. If the puzzle is large, secure the sheets with paper clips or tape and ask someone to help you, otherwise you can ruin all your work.

Step 2

If the puzzle was assembled on a table or on the floor, it is necessary to transfer it to another movable surface. It is easier to do this with a table - you need to form a perfectly flat plane with it with the help of a fiberboard sheet, along which the entire structure moves. The picture collected on the floor is turned over in parts or tape or glue is applied to the front side, having previously cleaned it of dust, sand, hair and other dirt. But, of course, the puzzle glued on the seamy side looks neater.

Step 3

For gluing, use PVA glue, stationery silicate glue, scotch tape or special glue for puzzles. If it was not possible to turn the picture over, glue it from the front side by pouring the glue onto the surface and spreading it with a spatula or piece of cardboard. It will be poured into the gaps between the pieces and glue them together. Stationery glue gives the painting a glossy shine.

Step 4

It is much more efficient and safer to stick the puzzle on the base materials (fiberboard, ceiling tiles, polystyrene, fabric). You need to cut out a base sheet of a suitable size, apply glue to it and put it on the wrong side of the picture. Press the sheet against the surface of the puzzle and turn it face up.

Step 5

To glue the puzzle to the fabric, you need to cut out a piece three centimeters larger from each side, apply glue to it and attach it to the back side, immediately turning the picture over to the front side. Remove any glue that has come out with a tissue and leave to dry completely. The edges of the material can be cut or used while pulling onto another surface. A puzzle glued to a fabric acquires a flexible structure, therefore it is not recommended to use this method for large paintings.

Step 6

You can also use special adhesive tape cut to fit the puzzle. It is necessary to separate the paper from the self-adhesive surface and attach to the wrong side of the painting, smoothing with a soft towel from the center to the edges.
