Step 1
Try to make the "Perfect Loop" knot, this technique is within the power of even a novice fisherman. Tie a regular knot on the fishing line, without tightening, thread the end of the fishing line into the loop of the knot and form another turn from this. Bring it to the other end and thread it again into the loop of the knot so that when tightening, this end is pinched.
Step 2
Fold the line in half if you need a Blood Loop knot. Connect the halves together and form a small loop out of them, a couple of centimeters in diameter is enough. In general, it should be of the size that you will need in the future for fishing. Wrap the double end around the main line a couple of times and thread it through the loop. Tighten the knot.
Step 3
For braided lines, a method is suitable in which the loop of the leash or the eye of the swivel is threaded into the center of the connector. Gently hook the loop from the line to the antenna of the connector, make 5-7 turns in the direction of the second antenna around the body of the connector. Then loop through the second tendril. For secure attachment, leave a free piece of fishing line, about 3-4 cm long.
Step 4
Attach a few pieces of insulation to the main line. Put as many pieces on the line as you intend to attach to it in the future. On the main line, tie the loops so that the plastic or silicone cambric is between them. This method is convenient because it is easy to do on the fishing spot, without preliminary preparation, which significantly saves time and gives a tangible catch.
Step 5
To create a detachable line or metal leash, make a separate arrester and attach a carabiner to its end. With this device, you can attach the leash to the main line and using a loop. Take two carabiners and attach on either side of the tackle. Thanks to this technique, you will attach the fishing line with leads on one side and on the shock-absorbing rubber band on the other side, and at the end of the fishing you can unfasten the carbines and easily remove the fishing line.
Step 6
When going fishing for small fish, make a simple leash using the split loop method. Tie a loop on the main line, then cut off one of its ends and attach a hook to the end of the line. Fold together the two lengths of the leashes, you will get the distance between the levers when installing the donkey. It is better if you take leashes no longer than 30 cm., You can use smaller sizes, depending on the size of the rod.
Step 7
Choose a method of attaching the ice fishing lure. Here you can tie the leash directly to the fishing line, attach the lure to the leash, which is already tied to the fishing line in advance, or tie the spoon to the ring (lock). At the end of the fishing line, tie a regular knot, pass the arresting device twice through the hole in the spinner (lock ring) and overwhelm with an ordinary knot. Tighten the resulting knot so that the knot at the end of the line fits snugly against the common tie. Cut off the remaining tip, leaving about 2-3 mm. Pull the reduced knot away from you, it should not loosen the line, untie or slip out.
Step 8
Planning a good pike catch? Use a metal (steel) leash. A lure attached to such a structure has the advantage of being lowered into the depth. The leash, connected to the lure, forms a loop in which it walks very freely, without oscillatory movements. If you intend to tie the lure with a loop, then keep in mind that the knot on the line weakens it significantly. In addition, the double line with a knot near the lure itself makes it visible in the water for fish. It is better to use this method in a muddy body of water, for example, in a lake. Knots on the braided line will also help to make long casts and maintain the strength of the line. However, they are also visible in water, and at sub-zero temperatures they freeze, losing strength.
Step 9
Make a figure eight loop with an extra step. Fold the end of the line in half. With the end of the resulting loop, make two turns around its base, pull the loop into the first turn. Make a small loop on the main line and on the leash, then connect the two loops. Pay attention to the process, it is important to thread the loop of the main line inside the leash loop, and then draw the end of the leash into it.
Step 10
You can make an additional side leash from a fishing line of the same diameter as the main one, but it should be attached at different distances from the lower jig or devil. Place the sinker at the end of the main (usually braided) line, and tie the leash 25-30 cm higher. The lateral lead lead should be located perpendicular to the main line at a certain distance. Thanks to this technique, the rig on casts and during the posting of the bait will be less tangled and it will be easier for you to fish.
Step 11
With the help of the "snake knot" you can tie several leads to the line. To do this, place the main line and the leader line in parallel. With the end of the main line, make several turns around the leader line, with the end of which draw several turns around the main line. Guide the ends of the lines towards each other through the middle of the resulting twist and tighten the knot. You will have a structure with three loose ends of the line.
