In the fall of 2017, two exciting games from different companies were released on various gaming platforms - FIFA 17 and PES 17. From now on, gamers will have to make a difficult choice in favor of EA Sports or KONAMI.
Both series of games traditionally have millions of fans around the world. Therefore, an unambiguous statement about the superiority of one game over another cannot be one hundred percent correct and objective. Gamers accustomed to playing one of the products, whether from a Canadian or Japanese firm, will continue their battles on their favorite FIFA and PES. You can only compare some of the characteristics of the new simulators without going into complicated technical details.
One of the important factors affecting the success of the above games is the availability of licenses. By this indicator, FIFA 17 is significantly superior to its competitor. Therefore, players who like to play in real stadiums for real clubs can choose this game. EA's simulator features over three hundred teams and 35 leagues (including the second divisions of the leading European championships). PES 17 cannot boast of this (although the main European championships have second divisions). The Japanese simulator in its new series has lost ground even more, having lost the license for the Spanish championship (except for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid), the Premier League clubs and the grandees Bayern Munich and Juventus. But in PES 17 it will now be possible to play at the Nou Camp and Anfield, unlike FIFA 17.
Now it's worth talking about the gameplay of games. In this aspect, according to polls of many gamers, PES has been in the lead for several years. The Japanese control the game is a little more realistic (and therefore more difficult). Football artificial intelligence is perfectly integrated into the game. Therefore, for those who do not really care about licenses for teams and stadiums, playing PES is more enjoyable. There is absolutely nothing superfluous in the game from KONAMI - only a realistic dry play. By the way, the internal graphic design of this simulator is much simpler than the fifa.
However, FIFA 17 takes on its graphics of the game. She is somewhat ahead of her rival. The lawns and spectators in the stands are drawn slightly better than in PES 17. Some people think that the Japanese lawns are generally not doing well. At the same time, the faces of the players in the two versions look very realistic (in this aspect it is difficult to make a choice).
If we talk about the game for one player (let's conditionally call it "career" mode), then in FIFA 17 it is presented more scrupulously. Mr. Hunter, you can play for him in this mode, not only performs on the field, but can also conduct dialogues with coaches, players and give interviews as the gamer himself chooses. The PES 17 does not have this feature. In the Japanese simulator, the created player is exclusively engaged in business (without talking) - playing football.
The main aspect in which PES 17 beats its competitor is the European Cup license. If a gamer wants to play for his favorite team in the Champions League or Europa League, then he definitely needs to choose PES, because these tournaments are absent in FIFA. In addition, you can take part in South American Cup tournaments on the Japanese simulator.
Thus, both games have their own advantages. Therefore, the choice is made by gamers based on their personal preferences in certain aspects, whether it be licenses, graphics, gameplay, "career" mode, or the desire to play in European competitions. Of course, subject to availability, both exciting games can be purchased. But long-term fans of a particular series will not regret if they continue to make their choice exclusively on FIFA or PES.
