The world-famous Japanese company KONAMI, which produces games for consoles and PCs, presented gamers with its next product - the football simulator PES 17. All fans of this game are concerned about the question - which football clubs received a license in the new release of the famous simulator.

First, let's figure out what the official license from clubs for the PES simulator gives. Teams entering into an agreement with the company provide the opportunity to use their logo, stadium, squad and original name in the game. In this sense, PES is traditionally inferior to FIFA, but this does not stop fans of the Japanese version of the game in battles on a football simulator from KONAMI.

The 2017 version has significant changes from previous releases of the game. It is impossible to say for sure in which direction they happened, because many clubs in PES 17 lost their licenses, and several other well-known teams took their place.

Let's start with the richest football league. The English Premier League has traditionally not been fully licensed in PES. If in the 16 version the players could only see Manchester United, then in the current version the Red Devils have lost their license. However, London's Arsenal and the famous Liverpool are licensed from England in PES 17. At the same time, the compositions of the remaining teams correspond to reality (there are no original kits, names and stadiums).

In PES 17, disappointment awaits fans of the Spanish Premiere. This year, only Barcelona, which is the official partner of the game, and Atletico Madrid, received a license from Spain. The presence of the original Catalan stadium Camp Nou in the game is unlikely to obscure the disappointment of the absence of Real Madrid on the list of licensed clubs. "Galacticos" in PES 17 is called M D White. At the same time, the line-ups received a license.

The situation is better with the French championship, as well as with the championship of the Netherlands. These leagues are fully licensed.

The Italian Serie A is doing a little worse than the aforementioned representatives of France and Holland. Gamers will not see the official name of the league, but almost all teams are licensed with the exception of Sasuollo and, which is very disappointing, the champion of recent years, Juventus. The Bianconeri have signed their contract with FIFA, so in PES 17 Juve can be played under a fictitious name and in a fictional form, albeit with an original line-up.

In the Portuguese Championship, Porto lost its license, leaving only two clubs - the eternal rivals for the title of champion Sporting and Benfica.

Now let's turn to Germany. There is no Bundesse League Championship as such in PES 17. Another disappointment is the absence of Bayern Munich on the list of licensed teams. However, three other clubs were licensed - Borussia Dortmund, Gilsenkirchen Schalke 04 and Liverkusen Bayer.

Now let's note the other European clubs licensed in PES 17. Unfortunately, there are not many of them. These are Belgian Brugge, Kiev and Zagreb Dynamo, native capital CSKA, Swiss Basel and Turkish Besiktash.

With the licenses of the South American teams, things are much better. At least the championships of Brazil and Argentina are fully licensed.

A consolation for fans of the PES series is the rights of the Japanese company to the European competition. So, in the next release of the simulator, it will again be possible to fight in the matches of the Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
