Volumetric paper toys have no functional value and serve solely for decorative purposes. At the same time, a person who is passionate about the art of folding paper figures develops spatial thinking and enjoys just the process of creativity. Making a paper beetle will also bring you a few pleasant minutes.
Instructions
Step 1
Mark the corners of a square sheet with the letters A, B, C, D. A and C are located diagonally. Draw three lines: from A to B, from A to the middle of segment BV, and from A to the middle of segment VG. Bend the corners along the extreme lines so that they converge on the segment AB.
Step 2
Now fold the corners on the other side to create an equilateral rhombus. Make a zigzag fold at the junction of the bent parts and bend the corners.
Step 3
Fold the obtuse corners back (away from you), and then fold back the sharp one located on the right.
Step 4
Fold the structure in half along the AB line. Turn the spout remaining from the sharp corner to the left outward. Cut or rip the spout straight lengthwise.
Step 5
Open the design. You have a paper beetle.
