KVN is not a game, but a way of life. This is the opinion of the participants in this open movement. That is why there are no unambiguous recipes for one hundred percent victory, or at least for reaching the KVN finals. Nevertheless, if you still consider the Club of the cheerful and resourceful as a game, then, observing its rules, you can become one of the leading teams.
Instructions
Step 1
At the stage of team formation, determine what each person who wants to become a member of the team is capable of. Ask to prepare a reprise, study, script. If the first time he failed to demonstrate his talents to you, do not refuse him. Perhaps this is just some kind of psychological clamp that will pass over time.
Step 2
Create a close-knit KVN team. Even if you are going to bet on one or two of the brightest participants, do not infringe on the rights of the rest by assigning them the role of faceless extras at the dancer. Don't make a theater troupe out of the KVN team. Give everyone equal attention and listen to all suggestions. Brainstorm as often as possible. Write down the best jokes for future scenarios. Try to get together outside of rehearsals.
Step 3
Decide what image your team will have. Everything should be thought out to the smallest detail: costumes in the same style (although this is not mandatory), the topics you will joke about, the image of each of the team members. Try, meanwhile, not to become predictable, so as not to bore the viewer. Neither bright numbers nor sparkling jokes will save you if you do not change throughout the season.
Step 4
Do not choose the same type of jokes while writing the script. Use a variety of techniques to create a comic effect. If there is no theme assigned for the season or game, come up with your own concept for each competition so that the reprise does not "hang" and the audience can react to them adequately. Always have several scenarios ready.
Step 5
Use markers. For example, if you have chosen a conversation between a driver and a traffic police officer as a topic for a reprise, a chair ("car") for a "driver" and a cap or baton for a "policeman" will be enough. A large number of props and costumed characters on the stage (if not provided by the assignment) distract the attention of the audience from what is happening.
Step 6
Keep track of what your opponents and teams from other leagues are doing. Pay attention to what techniques they use and how the jury members and the audience react to their performances. But don't try to imitate them. Despite the fact that in Russia and the world there is a huge number of KVN teams, almost all of them are known to connoisseurs of the genre. By picking up other people's jokes and adopting the style of play, you will not be able to get very far.
