Openwork knitting is based on several techniques. Having mastered these techniques, you will be able to understand the openwork knitting patterns given in the magazines, as well as create your own patterns.
It is necessary
- - knitting needles;
- - yarn.
Instructions
Step 1
Learn to knit an openwork mesh to master the basic technique of openwork knitting - a yarn. Knit the yarn like this: in the front row, before knitting the next loop, put a working thread on the right knitting needle, in the back row, knit the yarn with a purl loop. By repeating this technique, you will get an openwork mesh.
Step 2
Use yarn over to create a simple leaflet pattern: cast on the needles for eight stitches, the first row of knit stitches; second row - purl; third row - one purl, one yarn, three loops together behind the front wall, one yarn, one purl at the end of the row; fourth row - one front, three purl with a crochet, at the end of the row one front; the fifth and sixth row - knit the front loops over the front loops, purl over the wrong ones; then repeat from the third row.
Step 3
Master the fishnet technique by performing pearl elastic. Cast on eight loops on the knitting needles: the first row - one front, one yarn, remove one loop on the right knitting needle, without knitting (working thread - behind the pattern); the second row - knit the loop that was not tied in the previous row with the front one together with the yarn, one purl; in subsequent rows, repeat the described sequence.
Step 4
Master the technique of moving the loops by tying the "plait" pattern (also called "pigtail". Cast on the needles twenty loops, then knit the first, third and fifth rows as follows: purl two, knit six, purl two. Second, fourth and sixth rows - knit two, purl six, knit two. The seventh row - two purl, six knit with a transfer of three loops, that is, the first, second and third loops are removed on the auxiliary knitting needle (pin), the fourth, fifth and sixth loops are knit with the front ones, then transfer the first three stitches to the left knitting needle and knit in. Repeat the sequence from the first row.
