Humanity has long been trying to make contact with alien beings. Representatives of other civilizations are not lagging behind: from time to time, a message appears in the press that another abduction of people by alien creatures has been recorded.
When the press only began to appear reports that aliens not only come into contact with people, but also abduct them for some unknown purpose, at first they were perceived as another newspaper duck. The victims were said to be likely to abuse alcohol or to attract attention. But such messages gradually arrived, and the testimonies of people who did not know each other turned out to be similar to the smallest detail. And now the most die-hard skeptics began to doubt their beliefs - the testimony of the "UFO victims" was surprisingly plausible.
How UFOs Abduct Earthlings
The definition of "alien abduction" has appeared, which means the capture of earthlings by creatures from other planets. Prisoners usually find themselves in strange places, rooms filled with radiance. The premises were perceived by the prisoners as a separate room in the alien ship.
The captives of the aliens, according to them, during the abduction were either in bed in the early morning or late at night driving a car - but they were almost always alone. On rare occasions, small groups of people or several family members have been kidnapped. Of the known cases, about 80 percent were in the United States.
Victims often needed post-hypnotic suggestion to refresh their memory - with its help, they could combine disparate fragments into a single whole in order to restore a picture of what happened to them.
Probably, alien abductions of earthlings began to occur about ten years earlier than the secrets of UFOs began to be seriously studied. No credible cases were reported until at least 1957, when there was strong evidence of encounters with aliens.
Is the abduction of the inhabitants of the Earth recognized as a science?
Gradually, reports of abductions spread - first only among American ufologists, then around the world.
In 1992, a closed scientific symposium was held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Researchers reported on key issues and presented experimental results.
The results of the symposium were published in 1995 and greatly advanced scientific research into the mysteries of alien abduction.
Despite the initially skeptical attitude towards this problem, as a result of scientific research, the number of doubters has significantly decreased. The phenomenon of abductions exists in reality, but it is not yet clear how the meaning of these phenomena should be interpreted and what is their nature.
Until now, it has not been possible to find out the reasons why aliens abduct people. Some of the researchers are inclined to think that space aliens are thus observing the development of our civilization. For others, aliens are trying to breed a new race. Still others believe that the result of the actions of aliens will be the colonization of the Earth by creatures that look like earthlings, but have an alien mind. So far, hypotheses remain hypotheses.
