Drawing is a favorite pastime of all children and their parents. When your child has mastered the rules of drawing simple figures, has successfully depicted an animal or toy, try to draw a funny cartoon grandfather with him.

Instructions

Step 1

Select a straight, slightly sideways view. First draw a circle that will later become your grandfather's torso.

Step 2

Draw another circle just above the center of the large ball and slightly to the right. This will be the head of the cartoon. Thus, the grandfather's neck will not be visible.

Step 3

Step down a bit from the large circle, draw two small semicircles to represent the boots. Moreover, the left semicircle should be slightly larger than the right one. That is, the far boot should be halfway out from the one that is fully visible.

Step 4

Next, draw wide pants for your grandfather. To do this, from the large circle to the boot, draw a line slightly curved inward on the right side. On the left side, the line at the top should be slightly convex to depict the left side more clearly visible to your eye.

Step 5

Outline the arms. Since your grandfather has a dense build, then your hands should be appropriate. From the line joining the circle of the torso with the circle of the head on the right side, draw an arm slightly bent at the elbow. Draw the other arm with a strong bend at the elbow, resting on the line connecting the circle of the torso with the pants. Draw small circles instead of hands.

Step 6

Draw the bottom line of the pants and draw lines to indicate the folds, as if the legs had fallen a little over the boots.

Step 7

On the right side under the arm, draw a curved cane from the level of the boots to the circle of the wrist. At the top, the cane will be in the shape of the letter "T". Draw rounded fingers wrapping around the handle of the cane. Round the handle of the cane. Draw the fingers of the second hand curved upward to depict an emphasis on the side with the back of your hand. Draw light lines at the bend of the elbow.

Step 8

Draw more rounded folds on the pants to give them volume. Draw a simple sleeveless tank top.

Step 9

Draw the face. Make a big smile, round nose, small eyes, and bushy eyebrows. Highlight the jawline. Round your cheeks. Draw small ears and slightly tousled hair. Erase the extra lines.
