Step 1
Draw a trapezoid. Its narrow base is located on the right, and its wide base is on the left. The wide base is the chest. Draw another trapezoid down from the wide base. It should be narrow and elongated, these are the front legs of the poodle.
The hind legs need to be drawn from several parts. Draw the thigh in the form of an oval overlooking the trapezoid of the body. The oval is extended vertically and slightly set back as the poodle will be in a show stand.
Draw a small rectangle for the neck that intersects the trapezoid. Mark the head with a circle. Remember that poodles have a very elongated muzzle, draw a triangle to the circle.
Step 2
Since poodles have very rich hair, curly and dense, this is the basis of the pattern. It is customary to cut poodles by making balls out of a pole. In order to draw a voluminous poodle chest, draw a circle. The edges of the wide base of the trapezoid should lie on it. Also draw a circle at the end of the front foot - this is also where the fur is left when cutting. From the hip of the hind leg, indicated by a circle, you can draw a 3-4 smaller circle, or, a triangle, with a sharp base towards the bottom. There will also be a fur ball at the bottom. The poodle has hanging ears, at the base of which I often tie bows. They can be drawn in the form of an oval elongated vertically and a circle. The ears are located on the sides of the head.
Step 3
The tail of the poodle is thin, straight. Slightly wider at the base, thin at the tip. Not too long. There is a fur ball on the tip of the tail. Draw in the details of the eye. They are slightly oblong, almond-shaped. The upper jaw is slightly more elongated than the lower one. Mark the nose with a small triangle. Bring the dog's thigh to the chest in an arc. The arch will be strongly arched in the place where the poodle has a belly. He is very sunken in such dogs. On the contrary, the arc will bend towards the chest. Draw bows on the ears, mark the curls of the fur. Apply shadows using the soft blending pencil. The poodle is ready.
