In past centuries, carriages were used to transport people, including over long distances. In modern life, these vehicles are only used to decorate wedding ceremonies.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw the carriage body. If your goal is to portray a carriage that transported people between cities, make the carriage sturdy, solid, so that it can cover considerable distances. The walls should be tight enough, make the bottom flat. If you are drawing a fabulous carriage, then portray it light and airy. Round the bottom, make the roof convex.
Step 2
Draw the vehicle springs. They look like a curved line attached to the bottom of the carriage. Draw the wheels in the curves on either side of the body. Draw in them the knitting needles and the place of attachment to the axis. If desired, the front wheels can be made smaller than the rear.
Step 3
Draw a door and a window on the body - they can be of any shape. Draw curtains on the windows. If your carriage is intended for summer walks, make it open, leave only the roof and low side walls, connected by four arcs.
Step 4
Draw a place for the coachman at the front of the carriage. It is located high enough so that the person (or fairy-tale character) driving the horses can see the space above the heads of the animals. Do not forget that the coachman's seat should correspond to the general appearance of the carriage. Step for the pages at the back of the carriage.
Step 5
Decorate the carriage. Draw a monogram on it, a curl ornament. Hang flashlights by the windows. Attach a complex pattern cast from metal to the roof, and decorate the border between it and the side walls with casting. Draw a handle on the door.
Step 6
Remember that the carriage itself cannot ride, so draw the shafts leading from the carriage to the horse's harness, and the animals themselves. Make sure that the size of the horses is appropriate for the carriage and the people who will ride it. Usually carriages were harnessed by a pair or four horses. Decorate the harness of animals, depict blankets on their backs and sultans on their heads.
