If you need to extract sound from a video file, for example, to record an audio track from a movie in MP3, then you do not need to turn on the video and put a microphone next to it - there are software tools for this. Let's consider how to extract sound from a video using the example of working with the 4Media MP3 Converter program.

Step 1
To get started with the program, download it on the official website of the developers at www.mp4converter.net or on one of the Internet soft portals. The program is available for both Windows and Mac users

After downloading, install the program and run it. The application has a simple and intuitive interface that will not raise questions even if you are not familiar with English (the program is not available in Russian).

To add a video file from which you want to extract sound, click on the AddFile (s) button in the upper left corner of the program and select the file. The file will be added to the list for later conversion.

By default, the conversion will be performed in MP3 format, but if you wish, you can convert to other popular formats by selecting the required value in the Profile field.
