Using only paper and cardboard, you can build a completely plausible bench model of the car. If desired, the appearance of a real car can be conveyed in the layout to the smallest detail. You can even make its salon glow.

Instructions

Step 1

Find on the Internet detailed photos of the exterior and interior of the car of the type you are interested in.

Step 2

Carriage interior elements - benches, window frames, lamps - must be prepared in advance. Glue them together using tissue paper and paint. Install white LEDs inside the luminaires in advance and lead out thin and long conductors. Let the glue dry. Make the handrails from cocktail tubes.

Step 3

Make a car body from thick cardboard. Also color it inside and out. Don't make the roof yet. Cut out the windows in the body, cover them from the inside with a film cut from a plastic bottle. Then, from the inside and outside, glue the pre-made window frames. Place benches and handrails in the back and secure them with glue.

Step 4

Cut out and color in the passenger figures, if desired. Let some of them stand in the salon, holding onto the handrails, while others sit on the benches. Glue these figures as well.

Step 5

Make a roof out of thick cardboard. Color it in. Glue the lamps on the inside. Pass the wires from them along the inner wall of the passenger compartment down to the hole made in its floor. Cover the wires with a strip of paper that you paint the same color as the walls. Leave a small amount of cable length so that the roof can be removed. Make a side on it from the inside so that, when put on the car, the roof does not move.

Step 6

Make the pantograph of the car from a paper clip, use appropriately painted bottle caps as wheels, and tubes from fountain pens as axles. Glue it all up.

Step 7

Make a stand for the carriage from plexiglass. Also place the battery (or power supply socket), toggle switch and resistors for the LEDs on it. Plug it all in. Glue the wheels to the stand.

Step 8

Use the same plexiglass to make a removable transparent cover for the model. To make the craft last a long time, do not remove it unnecessarily.
