Only having matured, Maxim began to use his father's surname, which was associated with the formal fact of recognition of paternity by a Soviet musical legend.

At the age of twenty, Dunaevsky Jr. graduated from the music school at the conservatory. PI Tchaikovsky in Moscow, and later received his education at the conservatory itself. Even at the beginning of his creative career, the future maestro began to create soundtracks for films and theatrical performances. In addition, he was brilliant at conducting. Before this relationship, Maxim met with Nina Spada, who gave birth to his daughter. The following marriages with Olga Danilova, a fashion model, and Olga Sheronova, a model, were short-lived.
