The situation in the city at night, the village can be hectic. If you have to return from work or school late in the evening, you can have in your pocket a wooden self-defense weapon - the javara. It's easy to make it yourself.

Yawara can be part of the weapons collection and lie at home for beauty. But if the need arises to protect yourself, then this item will help.

Yawara is a type of brass knuckle held in the hand. It will help weight the blow. This weapon is usually sharpened on one or both sides. This makes it even more dangerous.

The simplest javara - 2 samples

Solid wood is used to create the Janvara. We have this oak, but others, similar in hardness, will do. We need a bar with a section of 40x40 cm. A part of it, equal to 15 cm, is sawn off with a hacksaw.

Usually the size of a yavara is 13-15 cm. It depends on the size of a particular person's hand and on how long it is more convenient for him to hold the object.

After that, using a sharp knife or wood carving tools, remove the excess thickness of the bar. The same thickness is left along the edges, and in the middle it should be 3 centimeters in diameter. The length of this part is such that a hand wrapping around the javara rests comfortably on it.

In the middle or at the end of the product, using a drill, you need to make a hole of 0.5 mm, thread a rope through it and tie its ends. If necessary, the hand is thrust between the javara and the rope and becomes a formidable weapon of self-defense.

Now the object is sanded with sandpaper. If you want to give it a pronounced structure of the tree, then grease the javar with iodine, then draw veins with a pen, and then cover the object of self-defense with varnish and let it dry.

The second javara is also easy. It has a rectangular shape with beveled ends. To do this, a block of wood is cut so that it becomes rectangular, with sides of 2 and 3 cm. The length is 13-15 cm.

Now, using a hacksaw, bevels are made at the ends, and a hole is made with a drill, in the middle or closer to the end of the object. As in the previous case, a rope is passed through it, the jawara is sanded and varnished if desired.

More complex option

Attention! Although the law on the rules for carrying knives about January does not say anything yet, it should only be the subject of justified protection, and not an attack or part of a home collection.

Once it is clear with simple samples, you can make a more complex one for the collection. First, the length of the object is determined (13 or 15 cm).

As in the first example, a blank is made from a bar, its diameter along the entire length should be 3 cm. Using a pencil, you need to mark small indentations for the fingers on the blank, and some for beauty and convenience. There are 4-6 of them. The width of the grooves is such that it is comfortable for the hand of a particular person. Usually it is small - 0.5-2 cm. Parts of the product between the grooves can be given a round shape.

One end of the janvrya is semicircular, the other is pointed. It is processed in the same way as in the previous cases.
