Every year the international holiday World Kiss Day attracts more and more attention, gathering more and more participants. Mass events are held on this day.
World Kiss Day is celebrated annually on July 6. This holiday originated at the end of the 19th century in Great Britain. It received the status of an international event several decades ago, when it was approved by the United Nations.
World Kiss Day is celebrated in different countries, including Russia. Many cities host interesting promotions, contests, competitions, flash mobs, etc. Often prizes are raffled among the participants. In Russia, on July 6, 2012, the All-Russian youth flash mob “The Most Massive Kiss” was traditionally held. One of the goals was to try to set a new world record.
In addition to the All-Russian youth flash mob, other equally striking events were held in different cities. In Saratov, this day was also remembered for the competition for the most in love couple. This event took place in two stages.
The first was the competition for the longest kiss. The second stage consisted in the fact that the winners of the first competition had to tell the story of their acquaintance. The judges in this competition were the audience. It was they who chose the most romantic lovers. Five couples became the winners, they received free tickets to the Pioner cinema.
In Tyumen, about three thousand people took part in the All-Russian flash mob "The Most Massive Kiss". The event took place on the embankment of the Tura River. The participants had to line up in pairs so that the phrase "I love Tyumen" was obtained. Those who did not have a couple came to the embankment with special heart stickers and could approach anyone with the same sticker and ask permission to kiss.
In Nizhny Novgorod, the "Most Massive Kiss" flash mob was organized on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street. More than fifty people took part in the event. There was also a competition for the title of the most passionate couple. Six pairs competed in it. The winners won a free trip to the cinema.
