Shuriken is an ancient Japanese military weapon. Lightweight, swift, with many sharp blades, the shuriken was an additional weapon on the battlefield, but it was he who helped to defeat many opponents.
Instructions
Step 1
Shuriken - throwing melee weapons - are of different types. A bo-shuriken is an elongated metal object that looks like a throwing stick or a small spear. Bo-shurikens can be thrown from various positions: top, bottom and side; back and forth. Each time your fingers adjust the direction of flight of the weapon and its movement around its axis. In this case, before throwing, you need to take a shuriken in your hand, directing the blade away from you. The spear itself should lie in the palm of your hand between the ring and middle fingers and be supported by your thumb at the level of the transition of the palm to the fingers.
Step 2
There are two ways to throw bo-shuriken. Jiki da-ho - a direct throw of a small spear, in which the blade does not rotate during flight. With the han-ten da-ho method, the shuriken rotates around its axis in flight, thus the weapon penetrates deeper into its final target. If the target is at a short distance, you should lean back a little before throwing. If the target is far enough, direct your body forward. The throw is made when you exhale. Fingers smoothly release the weapon and set the desired trajectory of movement. After the throw, the warrior remains motionless for some time and monitors the accuracy of hitting the target.
Step 3
The most famous type of shuriken is the hira-shuriken: it is a flat metal object that resembles a star due to its "rays". The number of blades of the hira-shuriken in ancient times spoke of the warrior's belonging to one or another fighting school. Hira-shurikens are thrown from a straight position, holding the weapon with the edge towards the target and the point towards the palm. With a swing, throw the hira-shuriken straight ahead. Make sure that the disc is flying in a straight path, while rotating around its axis 360 degrees.
