Many have unnecessary fabric in the closet, scraps that it was a pity to throw away, various pieces left over from sewing their favorite dress. It's good that you didn't throw them away. Today they will come in handy - we will make an adorable rabbit out of them. It can be presented to a child or any other close person. This will require a cloth and a couple of hours of free time.
It is necessary
- - jersey / fur / any other stretch fabric
- - pattern
- - threads, scissors, a needle
- - stuffing (weave or wadding)
- - beads for eyes
- - colored threads
Instructions
Step 1
Download a rabbit pattern on the Internet, pay attention to its size if you have a limited supply of fabric. Cut out the details of the pattern from paper.
Step 2
Transfer the pieces of the paper pattern to the fabric you will be sewing the rabbit from. Cut them out. Do not throw out the scraps of fabric, they will be useful for filling the rabbit.
Now let's start sewing directly.
Step 3
Let's start with the ears. Sew the ears following your pattern. It is better to use a colored cloth for the inside of the ears. Sew the front and back parts of the ears. Fill them with cotton or leave them hanging as you choose.
Step 4
Now let's get to the head. Sew the ears to the front of the head, then sew them to the back of the head as well. Sew the sides of the rabbit's head together and fill the head with stuffing.
Step 5
Proceed to the main body of the rabbit, to its torso. Start sewing the rabbit's torso from the hind legs. When the front and back of the rabbit are sewn together, start filling the rabbit. The middle of the body can be filled with matter, and it is better to put cotton wool around the edges, this will give your rabbit softness and evenness.
Step 6
Sew the head and torso together. To make the seam less noticeable, you can tie a small scarf, a triangle cut from fabric, or a homemade bow tie on the rabbit's neck. Imagine!
Step 7
Embroider the rabbit's face with colored threads, sew the beads in place of the eyelet. You can also use a pair of ties on the feet to create an imitation of claws.
Step 8
It would seem that everything is ready. But we forgot the smallest detail of the rabbit. This is his tail. Take a small piece of fabric, fill it with cotton wool and tighten it with a thread. This will create a simple round pompom. Sew it in place of the ponytail.
The bunny is ready.
